Village pour la Paix AFOCAL Normandy Edition 2020 Start of the session 01 October 2020 10h00 End of the session 02 October 2020 12h00 Founded in 1980 by family associations and residential childcare facilities, AFOCAL is a national association which is recognised for its youth and educational work and has a network of nearly 3 million members. Every year, it helps more than 10,000 people, mostly between the ages of 17 and 25, to obtain childcare certification. Visitors will be able to take part in an interactive workshop on Thusday 1st October from 10 to 12h, learning about three activities which form the “Citizens of Hope” programme which helps young people and educational stakeholders to understand their role in peace, to use their skills to serve the founding values of the European project, to contribute daily to a culture of peace and to encourage the involvement of young people.
