Since 2000, ECPM has fought against capital punishment all over the world by uniting and mobilising abolitionist forces around the world. With its “Educate for abolition” project, created in 2009, ECPM has developed a wide range of ways to raise awareness among young people. Various activities will be provided, including videos on the abolitionist position, quizzes and a game based on a map of abolitionist and retentionist countries. Some of the exhibits from the “Speech bubbles for abolition” exhibition (a selection of comic book images by famous illustrators around the world on the subject of the death penalty) will be displayed around the stand.
