Delphine Allès

Delphine Allès is a professor of political science at the National Institute of Oriental Languages and Civilisations (Inalco), where she serves as vice-president. A researcher at the Centre for South-East Asian Studies (CASE), she is the scientific director of the DÉCRIPT programme, which analyses the mobilisation of civilisational narratives in the context of contemporary crises. Her publications include *Les mots du nouveau monde* (with Bertrand Badie and Stéphane Paquin, CNRS Éditions, 2026), The Share of the Gods: Religion and International Relations (CNRS Éditions, 2021), and The Indo-Pacific (edited with Christophe Jaffrelot, Presses de Sciences Po, 2024).
