Delphine Allès is a professor of political science at the National Institute of Oriental Languages and Civilisations (Inalco), where she serves as vice-president. A researcher at the Centre for South-East Asian Studies (CASE), she is the scientific director of the DÉCRIPT programme, which analyses the mobilisation of civilisational narratives in the context of contemporary crises.
