Maxence Brischoux

Maxence Brischoux holds a Master’s degree in International Relations from the University of St Gallen (Switzerland) and is a graduate of ENA. He has worked at the Directorate-General of the Treasury, in the office of the Minister for Foreign Affairs, and in the defence industry. A member of the editorial board of the journal Commentaire, he has published two books: Le Commerce et la Force (in the “Liberté de l’Esprit” collection, Calmann-Lévy, 2021, winner of the Émile Perreau-Saussine Prize for Political Philosophy) and *Geopolitics of the Seas* (part of the “Geopolitics” series, PUF, 2023). Through his articles, his work focuses on maritime issues, the international economy and the epistemology of international relations, seeking to identify the role of economic exchange within the international system and the distinctive nature of political science in relation to economic analysis.
