Archana Chaudhary

Archana Chaudhary is a multi-award winning journalist who writes on the Indian economy, trade, climate change, foreign policy and social change.

In her career spanning more than two decades, she has covered events ranging from bomb blasts in Mumbai, to the Indo-US nuclear deal, national elections and the US President Donald Trump's visit to India in 2020.

In her last assignment, a 17-year-stint with Bloomberg News, she has won multiple awards for her work on climate change, India's currency demonetization and women's safety. A commerce graduate with a post graduate diploma in print journalism, she's currently based in New Delhi but travels all across India, especially in the heart lands. She was born and raised in Mumbai. She travels with ease between crunching inflation numbers and India's politics, culture and traditions.

She is currently working on a book on the polycrisis in the Indian Himalayas.
