Chloé DUFFORT, a doctoral student in International Public Law, is preparing a thesis on "The ambiguity inherent in certain contemporary space operations that challenge the current legal framework", under the joint supervision of the University of Bordeaux and the University of Laval in Quebec. She is a former auditor of the 1st youth international session of the Institut National des Hautes Études de Sécurité et de Justice (INHESJ), and pursued a Franco-Canadian master's course in private law, criminal sciences and judicial careers at the Faculty of Law UT1 Capitole of Toulouse and at the Laval University of Quebec. Before becoming Defence & Aerospace Chair in January 2020, on behalf of which she participates in the Open ending working group on reducing space threats at the UN in Geneva, she was a judicial assistant at the Court of Appeal of Paris at the chamber of enforcement of sentences and at the anti-terrorism unit. Chloé DUFFORT publishes research articles on the subject of space law and International Humanitarian Law and is a member of the French-speaking research group, Osons le DIH!
