Thomas Loren Friedman is an American journalist, author and triple Pulitzer Prize laureate. He is currently editorialist in the New York Times, in which his biweekly forums are primarily foreign affairs. Friedman argues for a compromise solution in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, the modernization of the Arab world, the environment and globalization. His books analyze many aspects of international politics from a centrist and progressive point of view on the American political spectrum. He is the author of the bestseller Paix des peuples, Guerre des nations (Denoël, 2003) and La terre perd la boule (Saint-Simon, 2009).
