François Hericher

François Hericher is the Director of Safety and Security for the international humanitarian NGO Acted. Over the past ten years, he has worked in the Central African Republic, Niger, Chad, Ivory Coast, Haiti and Afghanistan.

For thirty years, the international NGO Acted has been working at the 'first mile' of humanitarian action, where the needs are greatest. In 2022, Acted and its 8,000 employees supported more than 20 million beneficiaries in 43 countries through 600 emergency and development projects.

Acted currently supports 20 million people in 43 countries to meet their needs in hard-to-reach areas, and pursues a triple humanitarian, environmental and development mandate. Acted relies on in-depth knowledge of territories and local contexts to develop and implement long-term actions, with a wide range of local and international partners in order to build a '3ZERO' world together: Zero Exclusion, Zero Carbon, Zero Poverty.
