Alain Lamassoure

 

Alain Lamassoure  is Chief Councillor at the French Court of Auditors. He was member of the European Parliament (1989-1993) re-elected in 1999, 2004, 2009 and 2014. Then in 2009-2014 President of the BUDG commission. Mr Lamassoure was Minister of European Affairs (1993-1995), then Minister of Budget and spokesperson of the French government (1995-1997). He also was President of the Bayonne-Anglet-Biarritz urban community (1995-2001), Mayor of Anglet (2000-2001) and the Regional councillor of Aquitaine (2010-2014). He is currently President of the scientific committee of the Robert Schuman Foundation.
