Originally from Kiev, Oxana Melnychuk studied in France at the University of Paris VII where she wrote her DEA thesis on the topic of "Russian domination and Ukrainian resistance". She has worked for the French Embassy in Ukraine, the French Ministry of Culture and Communication, the consultancy Arthur Andersen, the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ukrainian Ministry of Culture and the Council of Europe. Since 2016, she has headed the think tank "Analytical Platform for Strategic Communications", which deals with security issues in Europe with regard to the conflict with Russia as well as the economic and social transformation of Ukraine. Oxana fled to France as a result of the war in her country, and is currently on a mission with the highest authorities in her country's public administration to ensure strategic political and humanitarian communication between France and Ukraine.
