With its focus on concrete issues such as terrorism, the risk of violent conflict, the state of the democratic process and energy insecurity, the Normandy Peace Index is a tool for gaining a better understanding of the many challenges facing states today. Drawing on this tool, the result of a collaboration between the Normandy Region and the European Parliament, this workshop will offer an insight into the war in Ukraine and the way in which people are directly confronted with these threats to peace and democracy in Europe and around the world’.
