Nicole is an environmental activist and human rights lawyer-advocate from the Philippines. She is the Co-Convener and Founder of the I am Climate Justice (ICJ) movement, a youth-led group focused on achieving climate justice especially for vulnerable sectors. At present most of her efforts are focused on obtaining an Advisory Opinion from the International Court of Justice relating to human rights in the face of the climate crisis. Nicole is passionate about using law as a tool for social change. Her background in law and policy is instrumental towards her efforts in the field of climate action and human rights. 

Nicole is part of the steering committee and the Asian front convener of the World's Youth for Climate Justice (WYCJ).
