Kléber Arhoul, after studying modern literature and public law at the Sorbonne, chose public service. A former student of ENA (Promotion Valmy), he served as financial magistrate (Cour des Comptes), territorial sub-prefect, and joined the Ministry of Culture as Regional Director of Cultural Affairs in Normandy, from 2009 to 2013. He was appointed Prefect in March 2014, and in September 2015, he assumed the responsibilities of National Coordinating Prefect for the reception of refugees. In 2018, he participated, at the request of the Presidency of the Republic, in the working group on the creation of the universal national service. In 2020, he joined the General Secretariat of the Ministry of the Interior and has been, since March 3, 2023, Director General of the Caen Memorial.
