Justine Coulidiati-Kielem

 

Originally from Burkina Faso, Justine Coulidiati-Kielem has a Doctorate in educational sociology and economics from the Université de Bourgogne in France. She is a lecturer and researcher at UFRSEG at the Université de Ouaga2, founder and President of the Groupe d'Actions pour la Promotion, l'Éducation et la Formation de la femme et de la jeune fille since 2005; it promotes women in every aspect (economic, social and political), by strengthening their capacities and providing access to productive resources.  

She was also the regional coordinator of the G5 Sahel 2017 women's platform on 25 May 2019. This G5 Sahel women's platform, which brings together more than 50 women's organisations from Mauritania, Mali, Burkina Faso, Niger and Chad, was founded to ensure that women's voices are heard in the G5 Sahel’s fight against terrorism and efforts to ensure peace in the Sahel.

Dr. Coulidiati is a member of Leaders for Peace and a founding member of the association African Women in Mathematics (AWM) and the UNESCO Chair of Women, Gender, Sciences, Society and Sustainable Development, for which she is responsible for training.
