In January 2011, Bénédicte de Saint-Pierre joined United Way, the world's leading philanthropic organization, as General Director for France, which allows her to combine her experience of the financial and entrepreneurial worlds with her philanthropic aspirations.

After having worked for more than 20 years in the mergers and acquisitions and investment sector in France and Spain, Bénédicte de Saint-Pierre had been chairing, since 2008, the first investment fund dedicated to the economic development of the suburbs in France: BAC Business Angels des Cités, which she helped to launch alongside the founders, leaders of private equity and the CAC 40, then with the assistance of major institutions.

With the support of the Board of Directors, she finalized the strategy and development plan of United Way France and actively contributed to the worldwide network, by creating cross boarder investment opportunities based on impact for the United Way Global Corporate Leaders investors.

She is a member of the Women Corporate Directors organization.
