Jérôme Delay

 

Jerome Delay obtained his baccalaureate with honors in 1977 at St Syr. Nevers, France. From 1980 to 1982 he studied Photojournalism at Univrsity of Missouri, Columbia. From 1982 to 1984 he was stringer photographer for The Associated Press and The Denver Post. He was Photo editor and staff photographer for Agence France Presse (1984-1991). He also was  Israel/Palestine chief photographer  (1991-1995), International photo editor  (1995-2005) and Chief Photographer Africa for The Associated Press. 

Awards : 1991 First place White House news photographer’s association ; Twice finalist of the Pulitzer price for photography ;  Award of Excellence John Faber Award, overseas press club ; First place Bayeux war correspondent’s award ; 2010 First place Marco Luchetta Humanitarian photography awards, Trieste Italy ; 2016 First place China international press photo awards…
