Marie DURRIEU is a doctoral candidate associated at the Institute for Strategic Research at the Military School (IRSEM) and affiliated with the Michel de l’Hospital Center (CMH). Since 2021, she has been teaching International Relations and Political Science at Sciences Po Paris.
Her research focuses on the role and use of humiliation in international relations. Her case studies mainly cover the Middle East and the post-Soviet space, where she has conducted several field investigations.
She is the author of the book: “From the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict to Iranian Nuclear: Humiliation, the Forgotten Variable in Negotiations” published by L’Harmattan.
