Samuel Forey

 

Independent French journalist, winner of the Albert-Londres prize in July 2017 for his reports published in Le Figaro on the battle of Mosul in Iraq. A few days earlier, on June 19, 2017, he survived the explosion of a small-scale mine in Mosul that killed his fixer Bakhtiyar Haddad and journalists Stéphan Villeneuve and Véronique Robert.

In September 2017, he received the Bayeux-Calvados Award for War Correspondents.

He joined in January 2018 the writing of the weekly Ebdoa
