Nathalie Funès is a journalist at the foreign service of L'Obs, where she has worked for nearly twenty years. She is the author of several books on colonial Algeria: Mon oncle d’Algérie (Stock, 2010), Le camp de Lodi (Stock, 2012) and L’affaire Maurice Audin, réparer l’injustice (LGDJ, 2019)
