Merav Griguer

With nearly 20 years of experience in the fields of technology, information, and personal data protection, Merav has developed recognized expertise in numerous sectors, including finance, public sector (including defense and security), health, media, tech, aviation, real estate, luxury, retail, and sports.

Her main areas of expertise include GDPR compliance, litigation, and dispute resolution before regulatory authorities.

She works on all cybersecurity-related issues, particularly in managing incidents and international cyberattacks.

Her expertise also includes implementing innovative projects (facial recognition, artificial intelligence, processing of sensitive data, etc.). Merav regularly collaborates with the CNIL, with which she maintains close relationships (joint conferences and debates, hearings at the CNIL on sensitive issues, and resolution of legal conflicts).

She is an Affiliate Professor and Scientific Director of the DPO (Data Protection Officer) Certificate at Sciences Po Paris. Merav co-leads the Data Protection and Cybersecurity course at the University of Paris Panthéon-Assas within the Master 2 Digital Law program, which she runs with Thomas Dautieu, Director of Legal Support at the CNIL.

She is often consulted on proposals or amendments to laws, decrees, or regulations.

She is the author of numerous articles and publications and regularly speaks at conferences on issues related to Big Data, social networks, and technologies such as Microsoft Techdays, Journal du Luxe, Les Echos conferences, the International Hub Forum, EBG, MEDEF conferences, CCI, the Avignon Forum, WeWork Tel Aviv, CESE, IAPP, etc. She is the author of the book “The Guide to Risk-Free Communication.”
