
Sébastien Imbert has extensive experience in innovation, technology, marketing, and sales. He graduated from Kedge Business School in Business Engineering, holds an MBA in Marketing & E-commerce (with honors), and a degree from HEC – CESA Marketing. Sébastien spent over 20 years at Microsoft, where he served as Chief Marketing Officer for the past five years. His role as Marketing Director involved strategic marketing orientations, planning, orchestration, and execution of Connected Marketing & Sales operations aimed at driving growth and adoption of Microsoft cloud solutions (Data & AI, Infrastructure, ERP/CRM, ModernWork, Cybersecurity) & devices (Surface, Hololens).
Previously, he was the Director of Digital Marketing at Microsoft, where he led numerous initiatives and programs developed in France that were deployed globally.
In 2023, he took the initiative to launch ykaria.tech, a consulting, software, and innovation company with expertise in synergies between sales and marketing teams. In this context, he also partnered in the international development of franchised innovation centers named JOIST Innovation Parks, focusing on HealthTech, AgriTech, EduTech, and Modern Manufacturing. Sébastien Imbert is also a member of the pedagogical committee of the MBA DMB at EFAP, a board member of Villa Numéris, and a board member of Equaleaders (a think tank of men and women committed to mixed and diverse leadership).
He also supports start-ups such as Human Linker, Respaid, Data Driven RH, and MyJiminy as a non-operational board member and regularly speaks at market events or higher education institutions to share his expertise in digital transformation.
In July 2023, Sébastien Imbert was ranked among the top 3 CMOs in France for digital influence.
