With nearly 20 years of practical and academic experience in conflict and peace studies, Professor Özerdem is engaged in the development and implementation of strategies, policies and evaluations in the humanitarian and post-conflict reconstruction. He has extensive experience in research, counseling, teaching and publishing in humanitarian politics, the role of faith in conflict prevention, youth in peacebuilding, peace and conflict, disaster management, reintegration of ex-combatants and post-conflict statebuilding.
