Traoré Bintou Mariam is an Ivorian feminist 2.0 and a trained journalist. She is a founding member and communications officer of the Ivorian League for Women's Rights, a feminist organisation that fights against gender-based and sexual violence in Côte d'Ivoire. In 2020, she launched the hashtag #vraiefemmeafricaine which spread across the African continent. She wrote for TV5 monde on the condition of women and was in charge of communications for the Network of Young Feminists of West Africa. She was named by Quartz Africa magazine as being among the 12 women innovators of the year for 2021.
