In 2011, with the Arab Spring, the world discovered the mobilising power of social networks. Since then, it has only been confirmed, for better and for worse. Along with the #Metoos and #BlackLivesMatters, there has also been the use of personal data by Cambridge Analytica or the Russian bots. How can we guarantee the possibility of grassroots, emancipatory mobilisation without falling into the trap of authoritarianism or surveillance? This is the challenge in the age of social networks.
