"In paragraph 5 of its resolution 74/35 on the role of science and technology in the context of international security and disarmament, the General Assembly requested the Secretary-General to submit to the Assembly at its seventy-fifth session an updated report on current developments in science and technology and their potential impact on international security and disarmament efforts. "
