15-25 years old: vote for the 2021 Freedom Prize Share this article The Normandy Region invites young people from all countries, aged 15 to 25, to elect the Freedom Prize laureate online from March 15 to April 25, 2021 among: Sonita Alizadeh, Afghan rapper and activist against forced child marriage, Agnes Chow, democracy activist in Hong Kong and Omar Radi, Moroccan investigative journalist currently in jail. Freedom Prize An international jury made up of 30 young people of 17 different nationalities met in videoconference on 10 to 13 February, 2021 to nominate three personalities. Sonita Alizadeh, Agnes Chow and Omar Radi were chosen for their fights for freedom from among 251 proposals received from around the world in the Normandy Region by this jury chaired by the cartoonist Willis from Tunis.
