Thomas Andersson

 

Thomas Andersson was born on 17 March 1972. He lives in Fåker in the region of Jämtland Härjedalen, Sweden. He works as entrepreneur within construction and recycling business. He has been regional elected councillor since 1998 and is the current President of the regional council. He has a bachelor in political science. Andersson is deeply involved in European affairs, democracy, international cooperation and equality. He is a member of the Congress of the Council of Europe, where he was appointed as spokesperson on youth and rapporteur on civil society. Furthermore, he is the envoy of the Assembly of European regions (AER) to the Council of Europe.
