The Normandy for Peace International Action Plan for building a just and lasting world peace
Following on from the 2019 Manifesto for Peace, the international action plan was launched on September 27th, 2024. Alongside Sundeep Waslekar, President of the Strategic Foresight Group, Hervé Morin, President of the Normandy Region, François-Xavier Priollaud, Vice-President of the Normandy Region in charge of Europe and international relations, and Frédérique Bedos, founder of the Imagine Project, many prominent figures signed this action plan.

The Normandy Index
The Normandy Index aims to measure the level of threat to peace, security, and democracy around the world. It was first presented at the 2019 Normandy World Peace Forum, it is the result of a partnership between the Normandy Region and the European Parliament. The index was designed and prepared by the European Parliament Research Service (EPRS), using data provided by the Institute for Economics and Peace.
The Normandy Chair for Peace
Since 2019, the Normandy Chair for Peace has been a program supported by the Normandy Region, combining excellence and openness to civil society. It reflects Normandy's desire to contribute to academic research and the training of high-level researchers in the field of peace studies.

The Normandy Manifesto for World Peace
On June 4th, 2019, the Normandy World Peace Forum 2019 launched a public appeal to raise awareness of the need for lasting peace. Drafted and presented at the World Forum by Nobel Prize winners Mohamed El Baradei, Leymah Gbowee, Denis Mukwege, Jody Williams, and civil society figures committed to peace such as philosopher Anthony Grayling and Sundeep Waslekar, president of the Strategic Foresight Group, the manifesto is now open for anyone to sign.
Parliamentarians for Peace
The initiative, led by the Open Diplomacy Institute with the support of the Normandy Region, brings together parliamentarians from around the world each year to collaborate on peace governance issues raised at the Normandy World Peace Forum. The working meetings of these parliamentarians aim to develop solutions that can be promoted in the international bodies in which they participate and in their respective parliaments.

Annual web series
Every year, a web series is produced in partnership with the Normandy World Peace Forum. Last year, La Boîte à Bac produced a five-episode series under the scientific direction of Bertrand Badie, professor emeritus at Sciences Po Paris, focusing on societies' responses to new forms of violence. These videos explore the dynamics of coexistence in a multipolar world, where tensions over access to water, identities, and resources are intensifying.
