Jean-Christophe Bas has long-standing experience in major international organizations in the areas of public policy dialogue, strategic development and partnerships. From 1999 to 2008, he led the development policy dialogue at the World Bank. From 2008 to 2014, he was Deputy Director of the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations, in charge of strategic development and partnerships. In 2014 and 2015, he was the Director of Democratic Citizenship and Participation in the Council of Europe, in charge of education and youth policies. From 1994 to 1999, he was the first Director General of the Aspen Institute, chaired by former French Prime Minister Raymond Barre. He is now President of Agence Publics.
