Ouissem Belgacem is a former professional footballer who has now become a writer, screenwriter and public speaker. In 2021, he published Adieu ma honte (Farewell, My Shame), a highly acclaimed debut work that has been translated into several languages and subsequently adapted into a documentary series.

He is continuing his writing work with a second book, Yamma, which recounts his mother’s journey as an immigrant from Tunisia to France.

An experienced speaker, he regularly gives talks in France and abroad on the fight against all forms of discrimination, sharing his personal story and his commitment with a wide range of audiences.
