Magnus Berntsson is the President of the Assembly of European Regions. He is also President of R20 - Regions for Climate Action and President of the Regional Council of Västra Götaland in Sweden. He grew up on the small island of Fotö in the northern archipelago of Gothenburg. It has long been engaged at the regional level, which in Sweden is in charge of health and regional development issues.
