Tiphaine de Champchesnel

 

Tiphaine de Champchesnel joined the IRSEM as a researcher on nuclear deterrence and disarmament issues in September 2017 to conduct research as an extension of his professional experience. After working four years as a research fellow at CESIM, a think-tank specializing in arms control and counter-proliferation issues, she was recruited in 2007 as a commissioned officer in the division of arms control in the Armed Forces Staff. She then held several positions in the nuclear field at the Delegation for Strategic Affairs (DAS), which became the Directorate General of International Relations and Strategy (DGRIS) of the Ministry of the Armed Forces, in particular as advisor for deterrence issues.

Commander Tiphaine de Champchesnel has taught in several courses (International Business Master of Sciences Po Paris, Master HEI of INALCO), continues to work in military education (EdG, CHEM) and conferences in France and abroad. She is pursuing a political science thesis at the University of Paris 2.
