Gérard Kuster

 

Gérard Kuster has been a consultant in business ethics and compliance since July 2014. His area of ​​focus is on consulting in ethical organization and corporate compliance, the anti-corruption organization, the training in business ethics and the compliance.

During the last eleven years in business, Gérard Kuster was Group Director of Ethics and Compliance. With the help of a network of 175 Ethics Officers, he set up and developed the GDF SUEZ ethics and compliance system to respond to the main developments in business ethics in coordination with the President, the governance bodies, General Management, Operational Departments, Branches, Business Units and Operational Management. From autumn 2014 to January 2018, he served as "Council Director" at the Conference Board in Brussels, in charge of the European Compliance and Ethics Council (part-time). Gérard Kuster was during the years 2011/2013 President of the "Global Council for Business Conduct" of the Conference Board in the United States and until 2014 member of the "Institute for Business Ethics" in the United Kingdom. He was vice-president of the Business Ethics Circle in France until May 2017. He is a director of the Compliance Circle. He is a member of the Board of Transparency International France. He is a member of the ADP Ethics Committee. He is a director of several companies and Chairman of the Risk Committee of BRED Banque Populaire.

Gérard Kuster is a former student of the Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Strasbourg. He holds a degree in Public Law and Political Science from the University of Strasbourg. He also has the certificate of the General Management Program of CEDEP-INSEAD of Fontainebleau.
