Eric TARDIEU, 51 years old, engineer of bridges, water and forests, manages the International Office for Water in Paris since 2017.

He also is since 2017 Secretary General of the Réseau International des Organismes de Bassin - RIOB.

 

Engineer, Eric Tardieu was an officer at the French Government in the Mission of Water in Cher, in the Industry, Research and Envirenment Direction of Lower Normandy (2000-2003) and in the central secretariat for regional affairs of the Lower Normandy Prefecture.

He was then appointed to the Lower Normandy regional council as Director in charge of the economy, research, Europe and tourism (2004-2007) and Deputy Director in charge of the spatial planning and environment (2007-2010).

In 2010, he became Deputy Director in Toulouse, in charge of the economic development, employment and international influence. He created in 2012 "Invest In Toulouse" the agency for economic attractiveness.
