Pierre-François Veil

 

A graduate of the Paris Institute of Political Studies (Public Service section, 1976 promotion), he holds a Master's degree in Private Law from the University of Paris I and a Master's degree in European Law from the University of Paris II. In 1979, he was admitted to the Paris Bar.

In 1984, he co-founded the cabinet Dubarry Le Douarin Veil. He joined Veil Jourde's "Firms in difficulty" and "litigation" departments in 2009. He specializes in litigation and companies in difficulty. In 2011, he defends the former Minister of Culture Renaud Donnedieu de Vabres in the context of the Karachi affair.

Also in 2011, he defends the businessman Pierre Falcone, during the case known as Angolagate. Pierre-François Veil is president of the French Committee for Yad Vashem.
