Asmaa Atif holds a Master’s degree in International and European Law, obtained in 2023 from the University of Caen Normandy. Since then, she has been teaching tutorial classes in law and is conducting a thesis on the principle of effectiveness in European Union law.

She joined the International Institute for Human Rights and Peace in August 2024 as an educational project manager for the Freedom Prize.
