Xavier CHEMISSEUR is the editor-in-chief of France 24. As a radio and TV journalist, he has mainly worked in public media (Radio France, RFI, France 2 and France 3).
A former student at ENA's Cycle de Hautes Etudes Européennes, he played an active role in the creation of France 24 in 2006. He became its editor-in-chief after coordinating large-scale, special broadcasts, such as the American and French elections and sporting events (Olympics, World Cup, African Cup of Nations) for the channel’s various stations.
He directed a documentary and a web documentary, ‘They are the future of Europe’ for France 24 during the conference on the future of Europe. He is also a founding member of the Association Trait d'Union.
As an executive in a partnership, he regularly appears on France Info to analyse international news, particularly European and American news.
