After a political career as Deputy of the French department of Dordogne (1993-2004), Secretary of State for spacial planning (2004-2005) and Adviser to the former President Jacques Chirac, chaired the Stade rennais Football Club (2006-2014), before joining ACTED as Deputy General Manager in January 2015. He is a former member of the Steering Committee of Kering and former President of its Ethics Committee.

Frédéric de Saint Sernin has been adviser to the former President Jacques Chirac at the Paris City Hall and then to the Presidency of the French Republic. He was also local representative in Dordogne, Deputy and Secretary of State in charge of spacial planning. Following  his political career, Frédéric de Saint Sernin was appointed Director of Public Affairs of Kering (former PPR), a member of the Executive Committee and Chairman of the Ethics Committee and President of the Rennais Football Club Stadium. He joins ACTED as Deputy General Manager in January 2015.
