
Philippe Le Corre is a senior fellow at the Asia Society Policy Institute’s Center for China Analysis and a senior advisor on Geopolitics to Asia Society France. He is also a professor of practice in geopolitics at ESSEC Business School where he directs the IRENE Asia Program. Since 2017, he has been affiliated with Harvard University, first as a research fellow with the Harvard Kennedy School, and as a research associate with the Fairbank Center for Chinese Studies. His research focuses on China-Europe relations, competition in Indo-Pacific, Chinese overseas investment and transatlantic relations. He is a former fellow with The Brookings Institution and The Carnegie Endowment for International Peace. Philippe previously served as Special Advisor to the French defense minister and as a senior analyst on Asia.
Philippe is a regular contributor to Les Echos, Ouest France and Nikkei Asia, and a media commentator for CNBC, Bloomberg, CNN, BBC, Radio France and France 24. He is the author of several books including China’s Offensive in Europe (Brookings Press, 2016), Quand la Chine va au marché and Après Hong Kong. He is a contributor to The China Questions (Harvard University Press) and to various other edited academic books.
