Initiated in 2011 by the National Office of Veterans Affairs and Victim of War (ONACVG), the "Bubbles of Memory" contest invites young people from school or not to reflect on the legacy of contemporary conflicts.

The theme proposed for this 5th edition was "After the war: rebuilding oneself".

279 young middle and high school students from Normandy took part in this competition, to propose to the jury 75 comics!

The Normandy Region, which supported this project, took part on April 10 in the selection jury which was chaired by Julien Hugonnard-Bert, author of comics himself.

And then, on June 4 at the Abbaye-aux-Dames, as part of the World Forum "Normandy for Peace", the winners came to withdraw their prize.
