Born in Beirut in 1981, Zeina Abirached lives in Paris and navigates between comics and illustration.

After Beirut Catharsis and 38, rue Youssef Semaani, his graphic novel Le jeu des hirondelles has been translated into twelve languages and has been very successful, closely followed by Je me souviens, Beyrouth. 

Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters since 2016, she is also known for the well-known Piano oriental as well as Take refuge, a collaboration with the writer Mathias Enard. Mouton and Le grand livre des petits bruits are aimed at young readers. She regularly collaborates with the press.
