An expert and practitioner of human rights, international justice and NGOs, Antoine Bernard is Director, Advocacy and Assistance of Reporters Without Borders (RSF). A Faculty member at the Sciences Po Paris  School of International Affairs (PSIA) since 2010, Bernard is the co-director of the PSIA Master in Human Rights and Humanitarian Action. He sits on the boards of La Maison des Femmes de Saint Denis and the Syrian Center for Media and Freedom of Expression.

Previously Director General of the International Federation for Human Rights (FIDH) and Deputy Director General of Reporters Without Borders, he was a member of the Steering Committee of the World Movement for Democracy, of the National Consultative Commission on Human Rights and the jury of the Simone Veil Prize for gender equality of the French Republic.
