Biography
Born in Hafnarfjörður on February 9, 1975. Spouse: Kristján Guy Burgess, Specialist in International Relations. Children: Amíra Snærós ( 2003), Bjartur (2012), Snæfríður (2013).
Education
- DELF degree in French from the Université de Stendhal, Grenoble, France 1996.
- Degree from the Iceland Tourist Guide School in 1998 and a degree as a Mountain Guide from Iceland Tourist Guide School 2003.
- BA Degree in French and Media studies at the University of Iceland 2000.

- Executive Director of the Left Green Movement´s Parliamentary Group 2015–2016.
