Thornike Gordadze

 

Thorniké Gordadzé is Franco-Georgian academic. After his studies at Sciences-Po in Paris (from where he graduated with a Doctorate in 2005), he managed a French research centre abroad (the Institut Français d’Etudes Anatoliennes’ Observatoire du Caucase in Istanbul/Baku).  In 2010, he joined the Georgian government as Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration. He was chief negotiator of the Association Agreement between the EU and Georgia and the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Agreements (DCFTA) between the two entities. Between 2014 and 2019, he was Head of Department and Research at the Institut des Hautes Etudes de Défense Nationale. He also teaches at the Institut d'Etudes Politiques in Paris and in Lille.
