Françoise Mélonio

 

Françoise Melonio holds the agrégé academic rank in literature and is an Emeritus Professor at the Sorbonne. She is a specialist in de Tocqueville’s work and edits his complete works. Having taught at secondary school, she worked as a history researcher at the CNRS (French National Centre for Scientific Research) and as a Professor of Literature at Paris X-Nanterre and the Sorbonne. Her roles include Assistant Director of the École Normale Supérieure (ULM) and Director of Studies and Education at Sciences Po and she is currently a member of the Collège de Déontologie de l’Enseignement Supérieur, de la Recherche et de l’Innovation, a professional ethics board for higher education, research and innovation.
