Boris Pistorius

 

In 1978, Boris Pistorius made an apprenticeship to become a Wholesaler and Export Marchant and in 1980 he was Sales Clerk. In 1980 he made his National Service. In 1981 he was a Student of Law, Universities of Osnabrück and Münster. In 1987, he passed his 1st state examination and in 1990 the 2nd State examination. He became lawyer in 1990, then Personal Assistant of the Lower Saxony´s Minister of the Interior (1991), Chief of Staff, Ministry of Internal Affairs and Sports of Lower Saxony (1995), Head of several divisions , District Government of Weser-Ems (1997), Head of Department “Schools and Sport”, District Government of Weser-Ems (2002). In 2006 he is elected as Lord Mayor, City of Osnabrück and in 2013 he became Minister of Internal Affairs and Sports of Lower Saxony.
