Ludivine Delaite

I grew up in the European countryside, surrounded by nature and domestic and wild animals. I have always had an unconditional love of flora and fauna, and this love has continued to grow and has had a huge influence on the choices I have made in my life.

My interest in living things led me to study urban planning and ecological transition at Sciences Po Paris, and to get involved with the Normandy Regional Youth Council, running a project to raise awareness and provide training in eco-actions for secondary school pupils.

This project, conceived and drafted alongside 9 other Norman members of the CRJ aged between 15 and 25, was a fantastic opportunity to bring the voice of young people on environmental issues to the Normandy Region, and to flesh out my convictions in terms of the actions that need to be taken with new generations to make them active participants, not just spectators, in the ecological transition that is needed in Normandy (and more widely on a national scale).
