This workshop is a continuation of the ecHo programme, a Norman education programme for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This educational programme focuses on the right of young people to participate, to enable a cross-disciplinary approach to current issues. To achieve the goals set out in Agenda 2030, particularly those relating to the fight against climate change, it is essential to give people, and in particular those who are the least listened to, a platform to express themselves and take action to make an effective contribution to these goals. The aim of this sequence is to highlight inspiring examples of grassroots involvement and participation, to give back to people a sense of power when it comes to tackling the climate crisis.
